They need to increase security in addition to general safety. Needs MAJOR updates. Many residents complain about stolen property. I myself have had my car broken into - smashed my window, and a bicycle stolen - cut the lock cable. The buildings are very outdated, not only cosmetically, but structurally. Balcony railings are completely rotted. Single pane windows are rattly, extremely inefficient ecologically, frail, and generally unsafe.
