Moved here from South Texas, four months ago. Feel like it’s the first time I’ve ever had Mexican food. The service is great (I haven’t set up an hour before close). The Michelada is huge and phenomenal. I have no words describe the things the parrellada how the heck do you spell it. So many flavors. Will be back.
This hidden gem is an old State theater converted into a Mexican restaurant. The decor is very clever. Somehow they smartly blended Mexican arts into the historic American movie house. The food and service are top notch. They also do a smoke and light show if you order the extra large margaritas .
Amazing fast service. Great food. Great vibes.
Reasonably priced. Cool old theatre location and you can still see the hallmarks of it. Free chips and salsa. $8.99 lunch options with the right amount of food. Good refried beans. Service was a little slow, but restaurant was packed and it seemed they might have been light on servers.
I could tell this was a very unusual visit. Not because of my travel partner, nor because of the spontaneity it took to get here, but because it was a weekend and there were hardly any patrons to share the space with. For context, I've had this place on my backlist for a while because it was seemingly quite busy when I first passed by this place months ago.
