I had a very disappointing experience at Sutter Health Los Altos Lab. I arrived only 11 minutes late to my appointment and was immediately told by the receptionist that I would need to cancel and reschedule because they “had to move on to the next patient.” Strangely, there was no one in front of me and no one waiting behind me at the time. What made it worse was how inefficient the process felt. I love the lab at PAMF Los Altos. I have never been poked twice for blood draw even though I have been told that my veins are difficult to find by other clinics. They may not be warm and perky all the time, but definitely professional.

This review is specifically for my recent visit to the lab, hence a star less. The lab is good and well organized esp in pandemic. I have had my blood drawn at this lab for almost 8 years now and have had good experiences. However, the phlebotomist on my last draw was not gentle at all or considerate. She was very rough and literally pulled the needle out with so much force and it hurt. It hasn't hurt me so much ever. Happy to provide feedback to Sutter about them but won't name her here.
