We have come to know Dr. Shanks through our daughter, while visiting kids in Portland. We had to find a doctor to administer an injection of my wife’s ra medicine. It was a new medication and I was scared to death by the thought of doing it myself. Dr. Shanks, who is an incredibly knowledgeable and warm individual, went over and beyond her task of simply administering the shot.
