I have been seeing Dr. Honan for many years. I have seen way too many doctors. It`s been my experience that 80% of the doctors in the state on Arizona, do NOT have your best interest at heart. You need to question everything. Dr. Honan is a good doctor. In this state if you find a good one hold on tight. Only one problem with Dr. Honan is if you need something fast, same day, like a referral, you're probably not going to get it. As with all doctors in this state.
Dr Hoban was so gracious in working me in today while her colleague was out. She was kind, comprehensive and as a fellow physician, I was very happy with her care. She’s experienced and has a good bedside manner. I would happily send any of my family members to see her.
Do not schedule at Banner. If you do, just beware that if you schedule an annual exam and you discuss ANYTHING with the doctor, you'll be billed twice.....one for an annual exam and one for an office visit. And she also falsely documents and then bills for that as well. Billing department is no help whatsoever at all. In response to the management response back, I have already completed a survey, which did nothing. I requested a follow up call, but never got one.
After waiting 4 months to see this Dr. I arrived 5 minutes prior to my appointment time. While filling out forms, I was informed the Dr. refused to see me because I had not arrived 20 minutes prior to my appointment and the next available appointment was 3 months .
Dr. Honan is very personable and also professional. She can be concise or she can elaborate and put things into lay man terms. She is very knowledgeable in medicine. What I like about her most is that she has an east coast mother feel/mentality. She's firm, stringent and pushes me like a coach and also a mother to get me to eat healthy, exercise more and control my vices.
