I went to Dr. Freedman in 2020 for a twinge in my spine when I put my chin to my chest. He called it "anxiety." He took an MRI and said the white lesions in my brain were "common in women who get headaches." He didn't tell me about the transverse myelitis he found. Turns out, that twinge was not anxiety, but Lhermitte's Sign - an obvious sign of Multiple Sclerosis. Dr Freedman is a very intelligent man, he is worth the 2 month wait to see him. His bedside manors maybe a bit rough, but that's just who he is. I gave Dr Freedman a 5 star review because he listened to my concerns and helped me with a good approach to my medical concerns. Neuropothy can be dibilitating take it from me.
I have seen a good number of doctors as a young female and am pretty used to being told "it's all in your head", "there is nothing wrong with you" or that "I am too young to be experiencing X" - Dr. Freedman has not done that. In fact, he listened to every single thing I said and when he made a comment that may have sounded like something didn't line up with what I was reporting he stopped and looked me in the eye and said "I am not saying I don't believe you, I am saying it doesn't make sense" and that was HUGE for me.
