Its a nice secluded area..quiet..
I do not recommend renting here. There are no property amenities and no assigned parking spaces. The property is 35 years old and the property maintenance and apartment upkeep are minimal. That doesn't keep them from continuing to raise cost of rent. Some maintenance or repair issues can take multiple requests to resolve. I have had more poor experiences here than good ones. There are much better options in Lawrence. Your money is far better spent elsewhere.
I was told my rent would go up a specific amount for this year and when I received my renewal notice, they had tripled what they had told me and gave me a 10 day window to renew. All right before Christmas. When I reached out to say that I was lied to and don’t even know if I can possibly pay this, as I was prepared for what they had originally told me, there was no apology or compassion. I have been informed that this is not even legal, but don’t actually know renters rights. I am trying to find out what to do. In previous ... read more
