Lorien Elkridge was the best of the three rehab facilities my mom has been to. Of note, the PT and OT staff and the administrative staff are excellent. I especially appreciate Samantha and Gina reaching out to me about a hospice issue that would have been very costly for us. The facility is very nice and the care my mom received from Franklin was excellent. Hope not to be back, but if we need to, this is where we would go. Chuck H
Lorien Elkridge is a beautiful facility inside and out, however don't let that fool you...particularly on the Assisted Living side. If you truly care about your loved one visit them frequently and you will see what I mean especially on the weekends. I have also found the current management to be below the standards expected...very unprofessionaL.
It is extremely concerning when a rehab calls to ask why you were not at a family meeting and didn’t even realize my dad “the patient” was not at the facility. Follow up phone call was Wednesday he was admitted to the hospital on Monday. My sister informed the nurse on Monday when she went back to get his belongings. The nurse said nothing and walked out of the room. There was no checkout when we picked him Monday and he was found in a soiled bed. We decided to give Lorien another chance at a different facility. I am truly grateful for the care and support. My loved one has received. The staff is kind attentive and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure his comfort and well-being. From the moment we arrived we felt reassured by the warm welcoming environment. The caregivers treat us with respect and patience, making sure his needs are met with compassion.
