This is a great camera if you want 180 degree field of view. It is very clear night and day, and rather easy to install. The down side is the camera uses two lens that need to sync across the field of view. If the sync is off, you get a shift in image at the center of the field of view. According to Lorex Tech Support and their support documents there is a feature in the Lorex App called Splice Distance Setting, that allows you to adjust the image from one of the lenses to bring the center in sync if they are off sync. This company does not honor their warranty, and their devices fail often. Buy from elsewhere.
Our experience has been great with these cameras. Tech support is great and fast. Easy to install and very sturdy. Not flimsy like other ones we’ve had. I see some people had bad experiences with it but not us. We even bought a doorbell for my mother-in-law. I like that we don’t have to pay for a subscription like the others.
Problem cameras, horrible app on android and Super slick customer & Tech services. Everything made and owned by China.
