I was never "awarded" a visit. His office staff says first he reviews the MRI & determines whether or not you can have an appointment. He only "works one day a week" which I hope is other than at least one day he does surgery. The front office manager informed me on a Tuesday afternoon that he had just gotten done the previous weeks records, mine were on his desk for this week.She said"You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink it." Dr Mouw had to do my back surgery because Dr. Abernathy stopped doing medicare patients. I personally prefer Dr Abernathy. I had back surgery Nov.19, 2015 and I have had a back ache since also was left with a drop foot , which all i read about it the doctors fault. So my advise is think about it before you go under knife.
Dr. Mouw was very conscientious and diligent with my issues and surgery. I have nothing but high respect and gratitude for him. Great surgeon.
