After a very negative experience at another shop in Bastrop, I called Lopez Auto Repair for a second opinion. LAR was highly recommended as 'skilled, honest and reliable' by another well-rated shop in Austin, who said they would be better suited for the potential work my 2013 Tacoma likely would require. Got my air conditioner quote on quote “fixed”by them for 1900 usda. The air conditioner ended up not working again a month later. Theres a rule of logic when it comes Mechanics that goes: fast and good= expensive, slow and cheap= good, and fast and cheap= not good. This place breaks that rule: I paid 1900 dollars for them to poorly fix my air conditioner and they did it at a reasonable time rate.
