Specialties Family restaurant with pet friendly patio dining. Great sandwiches, wraps, salads, and fresh locally caught fish. We make our own icecream using 16% cream supplied by a local dairy. Supporting local businesses whenever possible. History Established in 1980. Located at the depot on Boca Grande we bought the restaurant in 2006. Nice outdoor lunch. Waitress was very friendly and efficient. Right in downtown Boca Grand so you could people watch. My salad was fresh and a large portion.
Fun outside dining breakfast was yummy
The sign on the door of Loose Caboose said “Closed” this morning. Couldn’t see anyone inside and literally zero people at the restaurant. We had just eaten breakfast there, even earlier, the morning before. Disappointed we went across the street to the bakery. Bakery tables were full so we went back across the street to sit at a table by the road to get out of the sun. My 18 month old son was with us. Service was good, wine was cold, and the tomato and Brie wrap was really good and fresh. Loved the avocado in it, and the citrus aoli was the perfect Complement.
Fantastic our waitress was very sweet and quick
Waited 30 mins to be seated and another 30 mins for water. I got a Philly Steak that had squeezed cheese on it. The salad was stale and the burger tasted like they were served from the high school lunch line. Very disappointing with the food and service !!
Great food, even better service, which is not easy in the age of Covid. 5/5
