I went to have cataract surgery. I had to sign papers if anything went wrong it was not their fault. Something did go wrong and now my eyesight is worse then it was and I have to get glasses to be able to see.I can't read, my eyes are very sensitive to bright light, I can't see distance very well and I have lots and lots of black specks in one eye, I spent a lot of money for this and of course they are not responsible - I signed those papers.Not happy
Everything about LGEC is just wonderful! All the staff are helpful and explain everything thru out your whole experience from your first call.. It's more and more becoming the exception rather than the rule that you get treated so well anywhere but they strive to help you anyway they can and it shows. I highly recommend them for anyone, anywhere in WNC it's worth the drive for sure.
After waiting almost an hour to see the doctor assigned to me (previous provider no longer there) he never greeted me, never asked if I had concerns (I did) and left the room with only a word to the assistant to schedule a yearly exam. I will not return.
I’ve gone to Looking Glass for my eye exams and glasses over the past 5 years and been happy with my exams and their optics department but after my December visit I felt blindsided with a $40 RX fee that is not a common practice. I don’t even warrant a new prescription because the change in my 66 year old eyes was so minuscule. An RX fee is outrageous first of all - what doctor’s office charges a RX fee!
