I, too, have been taking my cars to Lonnie's for over 30 years. Have tried a couple other places more conveniently located for me, and came running back to Lonnie's. They are knowledgable, honest, fairly priced, trustworthy, and just plain nice! No matter that I have moved out of Durham, I continue to go the extra mile to get to them, because they always go the extra mile for their customers.
I have been taking my cars to Lonnie for over 35 years. He has always done an excellent job and he stands by his work and his prices are always fair. He has moved to several different locations and we have always followed him. I can't think of ever using another mechanic. A nicer guy you will never meet.

We've been dealing with Lonnie since we moved here 30 years ago and he and his staff have always been up front and honest on everything . We've never been disappointed ! I highly recommend you try them out for your car(s)' mechanical issues. You won't be sorry!
GREAT SERVICE. Very pleased with every visit! I have a Cadillac, Chevy Silverado, and my wife has a VW Jetta. I take all my vehicles to Lonnie's and always drive away very happy. I drop my car off in the morning, they give me a ride back to work, I get a phone call during the day with an accurate estimate and my car is usually ready to be picked up that same day. The price is very reasonable and beats going to the dealership by far. If something they see is unexpected, I am always called and notified before the repairs are d... read more
