My experience has been great.!!! Everything was just the way they planned it.
PA did not even review radiologists' report, but rather made her own assumptions and offered nothing outside of a fusion for my lumbar spinal stenosis and spondylolisthesis, claiming that the arthritis ruled out any other option. I do not like seeing a PA first. They are not a doctor. Period. Which is what I'm paying to see through insurance. They oftentimes cannot answer all your questions, hence the need to meet the doctor. Dr. Schultz is absolutely an amazing neurosurgeon. He takes time with you and explains things in a manner that you can understand. I've had a bad back for over 3 years and Dr. Schultz and Justina, his PA, have really helped me. I drive 2 hours to come see them and wouldn't change neurosurgeons for anything! They are DEFINITELY worth the drive!!!
