Great staff. They provide excellent pet care. They go over everything with me, including any new procedures or preventative medicines.
Dr Shaffer is a very well informed and knowledgeable vet. He is a good surgeon as well. I have been bring my pets here through the years and I have never had a problem. They work so well with animals and provide the best treatment.
We want to thank you for all your help and support while our dog was sick. You took the time with him that he needed and really helped our family through a hard time. You really made it so he wasn't suffering in the end.

Not a good experience – As I read all of these reviews to select a vet as we are new to town, thought we couldn't miss with selecting this vet. Our experience was SO very different than what is written here and the references to a female Dr. Shaffer. We had a male Dr. Shaffer and found him to be impatient, more concerned about his "professional" opinion than listening to what was going on with our dog; and not aggressive in treating a very serious condition. Love This Place – B and I love this place! We take all of our kitties here. Staff & Vet have always been super nice and knowledgeable. Comforting to know they actually care about our babies. Coffee & tea for the pet owners and they even sent us a thank you card... great pet & owner care!
Very caring and nice! – I've brought my dog in to be seen by both veterinarians, and they are both awesome! You can tell how much they like animals. The office staff is great too. The doctors are so caring and helpful. Thank you for taking such good care of Chevy!

High Level of Care – The constant, high level of care I've received from Longmont Small Animal Hospital has been nothing sort of astounding and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hospital to anyone. The best thing I can say is that they took one of my dog-owner nightmares in vet visits and have turned a vet visit into something both Emma and I look forward to!
