Just a wonderful place to reside, rest, and rejuvenate, any time of the year! Beth Bockoven and Paul are incredible hosts! I highly recommend it!
Excellent hospitality for equines and humans. The lodge is beautiful. The trails in the Gamelands are lovely and one can ride for miles. Beth is a wonderful host.

We loved Longleaf Lodge! It’s cozy, quiet, accommodating, and relaxing. Much better than any hotel because you just feel at home. There’s just such an unforgettable personality that makes you want to come back. We definitely will!
Stayed at the Lodge a couple nights for a getaway with my horse to do some trail riding and it was great! The trails were fun to explore and it was easy to follow the map Beth gave me. Very relaxing and my horse loved it as well! Am visiting again soon.
My students and I boarded at Longleaf for a week of training with John Zopatti, Bobby Costello, and Will Faudree. The horses all thrived rotating between the pastures, stalls, and smaller paddocks with sheds. Beth was attentive and nice to have around.
Great access to Sandhills Gamelands - riding or hunting i should think. Wonderful facility for short and overnight stays with your equine. Beth is an attentive innkeeper, and as the other reviews indicate a very knowledgeable horsewoman. Along with trail riding, Beth has an arena, round pen and an obstacle course to play in.
My Dakota has boarded at Longleaf Lodge for a superlative year now. I was a new horse owner and Beth has lead me through the details of horse care. We have made decisions together along with our Vet Dr Bri at Carolina Equine. Beth is attentive to our every need. Dakota has 24/7 attention. Access to trails is right there. The pastures are green and luscious. This farm and lodge is a family affair and Beth has made me feel a part of it all. Dakota and I could not be happier.
