Longboards Restaurant & Bar in Salem pulled me in with two heavy hitters: a killer bloody mary & a North Shore beef piled high with onion rings. Not quite textbook—the cheese wasn’t tucked underneath & the beef was 50/50 pink & cooked well—but the flavor showed up big & the bun had that perfect golden crunch. I held my boyfriends surprise 30th birthday party at Longboards in the upstairs function room. It was absolutely gorgeous and held 100+ people comfortably. The food and service was impeccable as always and Hayley, the event coordinator was so helpful and easy to work with! If you are planning any sort of event, I highly recommend Longboards.
Great fish tacos
I’m a Salem local and this is one of my favorite spots. They’re also pet friendly! I have a cat who likes to socialize and come with me, and they’re always happy to see him. The chili is absolutely phenomenal. It’s a great little location near some of the best hidden gems that Salem offers.
