My granddaughter was delivered at LIJ all of tbe staff was accommodating and pleasant. Everything was clean. The deluvery room was spacious with a beautiful view. The doctor and nurse, Nurse Betty were encouraging while working diligently and kept the mood light. Even in the midst of many other women in labor and delivering. Mommy and baby were united immediately and the bonding began instantly. Family was welcomed and treated courteously. Overall great experience.
Two drs for the whole er ....nyu Winthrop er is much faster and oganized

One of the best hospitals and the best people work or Northwell. I have never had any problems with anyone. I have ever come in contact with. I am a cancer patient. Also have had multiple operations and never came across a nurse or Dr that wasn't kind to me.
People here are awesome they all took great care of me
For the most part it was a good experience. Doctors and staff all good. Only complaint was first night after surgery my bed was broken and would not stay inflated so really was not a good situation for my already injured back( not what I was there for) . After numerous complaints and being told that it's normal I was finally given a new bed after almost 24 hours!!! Was finally able to get comfortable and get some sleep after that after 6 days looks like I will be going home tomorrow thank god🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
This has got to be the worst hospital there is!!! The doctors are a joke, there is no communication between each other, or with the nurses, or with family members. I am so disgusted with the treatment that was given to my mother. Also the hospice services are worthless. Unfortunately my mother passed away a week after they discharged her, and honestly I only have LIJ to blame. I will never take myself or any of my loved ones there ever again.
