Charged 200 for a consult session after cancelling treatment after finding out it was 200 for individual therapy AND the counselor I had been scheduled for was NOT EMDR certified. I spoke with her for 20 minutes.

If you want your typical "how was your week?" therapy, go elsewhere because you won't find that at Long Island EMDR. But if you want to be listened to with empathy and compassion, validated for your experience, AND challenged to grow by facing your thoughts and memories that keep you feeling down, consider this practice. Jamie and her team are all excellent, skilled therapists.

Jamie and her team are the most supportive group of therapists I've ever met. I've had contact with many different providers over the years and I am constantly amazed and encouraged by them and their constant commitment to clients and colleagues alike!

I had to cancel all my appointments I’m doing EMDR somewhere else because this place wasn’t even close to do the therapy, for real to by a trauma therapist you have to have empathy for the victims, you need to check on people that work for you
