Made the appointment on line. Very professional and courteous staff.
This is the only place I go, and I"m up to 168 platelet visits. Easily accessible from two major highways, and with safe, easy parking. Staff is pleasant, professional and attentive. Facility is clean. Cookies, snacks, drinks, and fresh brewed coffee when you're done with an agreeable gentleman manning that station and anxious to help. I'm usually Sat or Sun mornings. This was my first time donating blood and Shilpa was very comforting in easing my anxiety. The process was smooth and I barely felt the needle insertion. The rest of the staff was friendly too. The snacks were delicious afterwards! I strongly encourage everyone to give blood and make a difference in someone's life!
I’ve been to several NYBC donor centers, and this one is—by far—my favorite. The staff are always kind, and if you come in often enough, they start to know you: both personally and, more importantly, in terms of exactly where to stick you. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience here—and if anything, there have been times they’ve been too nice.
