I've been donating platelets for decades. The majority of those donations have been here in Bohemia. Every time I go there,it's like seeing family. I feel so comfortable there,and the personal there make it more so.
The place looks out dated. Technicians look overworked and under staffed, but they still try to smile
I donate platelets here regularly. They take great care of their donors, the facility is very well run and very clean. The staff are fantastic and the cookiesand juice are always a nice treat. I recommend blood donation to anyone who can. You can help save lives and who doesn't feel good about that!
Have been giving blood, plasma, platelets for yrs. Last yr platelets was very painful, yet I tolerate alot. So stopped going. They called this month stating supplies desperate, so went. First 2 questionaires crashed. Then sign in w bp, temp, blood type check crashed. Had to redo everything 3x. Then needle hookup most painful I’ve ever had!!! Screamed so bad (phlebotomist, dont think so!!) still pinched so she adjusted while in arm. 30 mins in alarms went off, needle out of vein. End of session, black and blue for weeks. Scar... read more
What a wonderful experience . I’ve always had issues donating. I’ve always had terrible pain and would get lightheaded. This was the first time I had no issues whatsoever. The staff was super attentive to precautions and made this a wonderful experience. Couldn’t recommend them more highly.
