Everyone here is very friendly, Dr Meddles Torres listens well, while also challenging you to think about what else could be under the surface. I feel heard here, and not as if I’m at a medication factory.
Been going here for 2+ years. Dr. Peter Smith is very considerate, knowledgeable and takes time to answer all of my questions. He creates effective treatment plans and ensures I understand each step/medication. The front office is also very kind and accommodating.
Dr. Hwang and Dr. Dowling are skilled practitioners but, as so often happens, the front desk staff hobble the overall presentation. Mary Liz is abysmal with her phone skills. She likes to say "just bear with me" and then she vanishes and someone else picks up. Horrendous interaction and not the way to be treating people. Tried to speak with Francis who is nice enough but essentially completely robotic and cannot get anything meaningful out of him.
Went here for 4 years. Not only was I put on over 6 different medications, ( upped doses a RIDICULOUS amount ) that was her answer to everything and they had put me on medications that seriously affected my mental state. And NOT in a good way, even after coming off this mood stabilizer it took months to return back to a normal mindset ! Pill pushers , and only looking out for THEIR dollar. Disturbing practice.
