Ma’am we told you several times and sent you email proof that the awning was shipped out by the time you called to cancel your order. Most of our customers are extremely happy when we tell them the awning will take a month to install and it comes in sooner than we expect so thank you for letting our future customers know that we do so! The 72 hour cancellation policy is a New York State “cooling off policy” on home improvement contracts that we abide by. After that it is a binding contract. Thank you Bill Bruno for correcting my issue with my free standing awning which I had originally bought on line years ago. I replaced the fabric in 2017 & a local contractor installed it backwards thereby losing 2 feet of shade. Bill Bruno and his crew at Long Island Awnings are the best. We did a complete renovation of our backyard last year adding an in- ground pool, beautiful stone deck and a 15' x 20' outdoor kitchen and bar. The last piece of the puzzle was to shade the front of the kitchen facing the pool where we have seating and counter top. We could not sit there in the afternoon hours because of the direct sun.
