Upon my arrival, I was met with a rather dismissive glance from the staff member, which should have prompted me to reconsider my visit. I inquired about the pricing and accepted forms of payment, but her hesitation led me to believe the information was not accurate. they are getting too complacent. i was told to come at a certain time and i arrived 10min before just to chill until she was ready. when i looked at the clock it was 5 min past my start time and she was barely done. i was told it would be at least 40min. I started calling other shops to see if the were open and suddenly she sped up. At this time it is 30min past my start time. She still has to pick the color, mix, and part.

UPDATE: my hair is coming out of almost every single braid. I have never so taken advantage of when it come to getting my hair done. And let $20 tip. Please get some skilled, trained braiders bc this is unacceptable. I cannot speak to every braided in the shop if seen at least two do good work on other ppl. I’m conflicted about this review so I will begin with the positive. 1. I still would recommend this shop bc I’ve witness the other braiders and work they do. Fatou Is the only many I can remember and hair braiding is amazing but there are at 2 other and owner great work! 2. Everyone in the shop was welcoming. My braider was sweet & kept me laughing.
