I started working with Long Beach Trauma Center, hoping to receive the needed care and support. However, after sharing my inner thoughts and personal struggles with a therapist, I was abruptly dropped because, according to them, I hadn’t experienced enough trauma to continue services. This was never made clear upfront, and I wish they had been more transparent about their criteria for treatment.
