We arrived when it wasn’t very busy, so we were seated right away. From the beginning, the service stood out. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. Shortly after we sat down, another staff member came over with water. Although he wasn’t our assigned server, he introduced himself, mentioned he was helping out, and then brought over our actual waitress. Unfortunately, the customer service was very disappointing. We waited over 30 minutes before a server came to our table. The Baja fish tacos were the highlight of the meal, they were fresh and tasted great. However, the wings were very small, dry, and not very appetizing. The fries arrived lukewarm and seemed undercooked. One of the kids asked for a drink refill twice and was told both times that it was coming, but it never arrived. Overall, the food and service did not meet our expectations.
Staff was amazing, food was really good. Cantina doesn't have chips and salsa like the roadhouse.
