RecommendedWonderful dinner with family, friendly and excellent service!! Amazing delicious entrees including lobster tail & filet, deep fried jumbo shrimp, New York strip steak, creamed spinach is to die for, along with onion petals, chicken wings, excellent creamy blue cheese dressing...BTW...We came to Rockford to visit family, our drive was 2 hours as we live near the Quad Cities, yet we are already planning our next dinner out at your Lone Star Steakhouse. 5 STARS
I'm very saddened to know that the Lonestar company is struggling so bad that they had to close their Rockford, Illinois location. All the employees do a great job @ that location and everyone needs to know it's not their fault. I hope and pray that everyone lands a job in the very near future!! I just heard the bad news that lonestar was closing. So I just wanted to give them my final review in case anybody was curious. I always thought it was easily the best steakhouse in Rockford and the food was always good. Best steaks, good salads too. Lots of good memories and great meals and it'll be missed in Rockford.
I haven't been here in a while and after tonight i remember why... service was more than slow had to ask multiple times for anything we needed. Had a steak and though it would've been good because it was seasoned perfectly, it was so fatty i barely had any meat.
This location is closing because they havent paid their rent...better use your gift cards quick !!by Christmas
My boyfriend and I decided to go here for dinner last night and we're disappointed. The service was great. Our waitress was really nice and prompt, but the food was mediocre at best. We both ordered a ribeye steak, which were cooked correctly, but were super fatty and didn't have a lot of meat to them. If you're paying for a $25 steak, you should get some STEAK.
