Be sure to ask how much the consultation is before scheduling. I wasn't informed during my first phone call or when I arrived for my dogs first visit - consult / semi exam. I don't remember seeing any pricing posted & I wasn't told about the $175.00 fee. And stupid me, made this mistake right before Christmas of 2024. We'll, let's just say, I definitely couldn't afford the $4,000+ bill for my dogs teeth. I left in tears and was desperate for a miracle - then someone told me about FIX UR PET IN SANTA FE. Sure its not the same... read more

Dr. McCoy and the staff are wonderful, caring and compassionate. Dr. McCoy is a very gifted Oral Surgeon. My Kitty Ralph developed a condition known as stomatitis. No one knows exactly what causes stomatitis, but it is suspected that it may be caused by a virus that leaves the cat with an immune system disorder that is devastating to the teeth and gums. Absolutely impressed by Lone Star team. We had our initial consult 7 months ago for our dog’s bite impacting the ware of teeth and the recommendation was some extractions. Dr. Kocsis and team were exemplary at examination and explaining everything. The notes provided were so detailed. When we came back for our appt later in the year, Dr. Kocsis picked right back where we left off in consultation because the notes were so detailed. They explained everything again before surgery and were so caring to our pup. These are photos ... read more

I had such a GREAT experience with both the staff and the quality of surgery done on my pug Maxwell. LVT Cara was kind, helpful, and super informative while Dr Kocsis sat me down and explained exactly what was going on with my fur baby in terms I was able to understand. She is also some kind of psychic as she saw almost exactly what she expected to see during the surgery. It’s been 4 days and Maxwell is 95% back to his sassy self. I can’t recommend this place enough especially if you have a brachycephalic pupper.
