Our family so greatly appreciates all of the staff at both Lone Star locations! They’ve been wonderful to work with and easy to communicate with to ensure our family member’s best care.
My friend went here for an IOP for several months. She said it was really sad. Most of the staff aren't nice and the place is more like adult daycare than a behavioral facility. The food was horrid and there's no horse therapy, as advertised. I'm currently trying to help her find a more suitable program.
Went on first day for iop and got laughed at multiple times with PTSD and autism. I got laughed at my staff and therapist about my short hair and what I talked about that is tramazing me. I don't give eye contact and got discriminated against being vulnerable and did smells that after I told them tramazes me. They will turn food into a signal for any over weight disabled adult while being vulnerable. They have barely any mercy.
I have been enrolled in Lone Star Behavioral Health for the past 7 months, and I can say it is one of the best outpatient programs that is available. From the techs to the administrative level, everyone is there to help you and to help your progression. I have had the privilege of interacting with great therapist in the program. They not only teach you skills and coping mechanisms to help you deal with your problem, but they are also open to lesson ideas, and teach in a way that everyone can take something away from each day... read more
