Stacy, my sons pre-op nurse was phenomenal. She helped my son feel at ease with the entire process. She even had him hear his own heart beat with the stethoscope. Gary made the transition from pre-op to the OR seamless! Helped my son feel safe. Brandi, post-op nurse was patient and caring. Facility is very clean. Overall, very positive experience!
Poor! ABSOLUTELY POOR! This surgical center is all physician owned and operated. Each of them have a vested interest, meaning they each receive a portion of the revenue (which has annual sales of approximately USD 4,714,652, and only about 30 actual employees). With that, they have financial incentives to perform more procedures and steer patients to their own facilities. They hound you from start to finish about paying upfront, and very intimidatingly. The experience was great! The nurses in the surgery center are phenomenal, knowledgeable and friendly. We even had nurses that weren't taking care of my husband ask if we needed anything. I would recommend Lone Peak Surgical Center.
While the surgery center itself is clean and efficient, and I have no complaints about the doctor, I do want to warn everyone to be aware of how the anesthesiologists bill for things. My husband went in for a ROUTINE colonoscopy, which is supposed to be 100% covered by insurance. However, for some unknown reason, the anesthesiologists (yes, 2 of them) - Cardin Bell and Brett Dyer - billed it out as diagnostic.
