We were at Lone Oak for the THR Bluebonnet Retreat. The setting is beautiful and peaceful while still being accessible from the DFW area. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff was great and very accommodating. Would definitely love to come back for the next retreat.

I was at Lone Oak for a cancer Survivor retreat this past weekend. This was the second time we had our retreat at Lone Oak. Brian, the owner, is an incredibly inspirational man! He touched us all with his welcoming! When we arrived in our rooms, there was a personalized, handwritten card, which exemplified their attention to detail and excellent service. The entire staff were at our beckon call. They cooked tasty cuisine and wanted nothing more than to take care of our needs. I highly recommend Lone Oak Ranch & Retreat!

I have been here twice for a Cancer Survivor Retreat and can't say enough great things about this place!! The staff is friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. The moment you step foot on the grounds you are greeted with a warm, friendly, serene setting. The love the staff and owner show for the guests and the facilities is unsurpassed by any other. This is such a wonderful retreat with great food, fun activities and the sweetest staff. They rooms are clean and the beds are so comfortable. This was my second time spending a weekend at Lone Oak and I will be back. If you want a weekend-a-way, this is your place.

Sadly the owner doesn’t honor agreements . At the last minute our event was canceled because he allowed another. Months and months of planning , making reservations ... ruined . I’d be very careful booking anything here. We even had a contract. The staff was wonderful but you can’t count on the owner honoring your reservation .

Sisters on the Fly really enjoyed our visit to this wonderful country setting this past weekend. Lisa & staff were so accommodating & we felt like we had the run of the place. Everything was as promised, the catered meals were great, & we will be back!!

Lugene, we are very sorry by this turn of events. Do know that Vicky and I did try to find another date to move the May gathering to but were unable to find an acceptable date; therefore, the only option was to issue full refunds, which has been done. Everyone who has made a reservation for the May event has been given a refund. You should see that in your account in the next few days. We completely understand the Sisters upset and disappointment and will work diligently to insure this does not happen again.
The second annual RedRiver 101 Campout with Sisters-on the Fly was a huge success! Thanks to Bonnie Shafto and Angela Williams for putting this together. Special thanks to Lisa and Lee our hosts and to Shane who backed my camper in for me!
