Originally the home of cowboy artist Lon Megargee, this last remaining authentic Arizona hacienda is still decorated with southwestern art and trappings. The Hermosa Inn's fine dining room features a tempting array of Arizona-inspired and contemporary American dishes. Among the more unique are the Texas Wild Boar Chop on sweet potato risotto with spinach, corn and black-eyed peas and the Osso Buco on Kalamata Olive Risotto with Provencal Vegetables.

We had dinner at Lon’s llast night. Our wait staff was not attentive. He was more interested in talking to other staffers than assisting us. I was charged $3 for 2 ice cubes in my cocktails. We were automatically charged a 24% gratuity even though we were only a party of 4. I find the charge for ice and the 24% automatic gratuity to be outrageous.

My boyfriend and I had dinner at the restaurant last night. The food was exquisite! The service staff were very attentive and we loved hearing about the history of the place. The night scene was romantic and peaceful.

One of the best ribeyes I’ve had in a long time and the fries where real chipped potatoes (chips) which was a massive plus with me being a Brit. Everything we had was good quality, cooked well and tasty, 5 stars!
Great evening in the Wine Cellar at Lon’s tonight. Recommend it for special occasions for parties of 12 or less.
