He's a big teddy-bear when it comes to pain (drilling is avoided when possible), and he never recommends excessive work (he's not "crown-happy"). His office does offer Waterlase, which is a plus, and he's very good at it. The negative is he's pricey, and if you're looking at an insurance change, they don't take most of them except as out-of-network, don't expect a compromise.

Excellent, Honest Dentist in Phoenix Area – There are quite a few dentists in the area that will tell you you need to have this or that done. If I hadn't gone to Dr. Lawrenz, I would have had a root canal done, and supposedly 4 fillings. Since this had changed since the last time I saw a dentist, and of course the locations off all this work, I went to see Dr. Lawrenz at a cowokers suggestion. My family has been served by Dr Lawrenz for over 20 years. Very friendly practice - all the team work together to make the treatment experience very positive. Dr Lawrenz always takes the time to explain the pros and cons of any treatment options. He will not recommend expensive treatments that are likely to have mixed results.
