Just went in for a checkup, treatment for myself and my son. It was a very casual office, very friendly. I hadn't been to the dentist in "awhile" and was dreading it. My cleaning went by so fast and was not too painful.
Dr. Lawrenz is very friendly and makes you feel welcomed. His staff is also very nice and helps with the anxiety that going to the dentist give you. I am always very pleased with the service I get there and as well as the prices. This is by far the best experience Ive ever had for going to the dentist because I usually wait till the pain is so bad, that I have no choice, and by then its too late!
Excellent Dentist: He left his dinner one Friday night to deal with my emergency, and I had never been his patient. He did the emergency work with no help from assistants, and didn't charge. I have continued with him ever since. His staff members are all courteous, friendly and welcoming, as he is. Dr. Lorenz is very meticulous and thorough as well as fast and efficient. He's a big teddy-bear when it comes to pain (drilling is avoided when possible), and he never recommends excessive work (he's not "crown-happy"). His office does offer Waterlase, which is a plus, and he's very good at it. The negative is he's pricey, and if you're looking at an insurance change, they don't take most of them except as out-of-network, don't expect a compromise.
My family has been served by Dr Lawrenz for over 20 years. Very friendly practice - all the team work together to make the treatment experience very positive. Dr Lawrenz always takes the time to explain the pros and cons of any treatment options. He will not recommend expensive treatments that are likely to have mixed results.
