Lombardo's is where the locals go who dine out every week. Always, always the same good food and service. Also the cleanest kitchen in town. No restaurant inspection violations in ages. You could literally eat off the floor.
Sticky tepid pasta, cold bread, salad dressing that was 90% vinegar and 10% cheap oil with no spicing. All that and the staff could not be less attentive. We ordered our food and waited, and waited. When our food came to the table my wife's food was not hot and my food was the wrong pasta ( noodles matted together, cold and sticky ).When I finally was able to locate my waitress ( this took ten minutes ), she said that the food was made to order and she would order the correct item. Great friendly service, good food, reasonable prices – My wife and I have visited Lombardo's a number of times. It is a family run restaurant where customers get great service and good food at very reasonable prices. The owners and staff are friendly and make you feel comfortable. The homemade pasta is excellent as is the sauce they make at the restaurant. Don't miss the outrageous rum cake for dessert. If you want a fancy place or gourmet food, this isn't the place for you. User review by cdibiagio – Has a great reputation, but I feel it's unwarranted. The food is OK, the prices a bit high for Italian. However, the best carrot cake I've eaten in years!!!
