We walked into the museum today not knowing what to expect and ended up having one of the best experiences we’ve had in Gettysburg. The gentleman working there took us around and taught us about everything in the museum. He was so knowledgeable and it was clear he loves what he does. 10/10 definitely recommend!
We decided to go to this Museum on a whim and honestly it's been one of the best trips to Gettysburg just because we went here! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable on all of the displays, he was also very friendly! If you visit make sure to clear up some time so you can properly experience the museum!
This is a great must see museum in Gettysburg. The Gentleman working there is very knowledgeable and there are so many weapons to see. And the cannons on display are really cool historical pieces that are a definite must see because if you have questions about how a cannon works and all the tools and parts to them are here as well. The place is so awesome. Go see it when in town. The sign is down by the Farnsworth House the museum is up the alley!
Our reunion this year was in Gettysburg, PA. We had a wonderful time at the Lomas House, our group was veterans from the 483rd SPS K9 group that were in Cam Rahn Bay Vietnam. A wonderful collection of our American History, cannons, muskrat rifles. Thanks John from the Lincoln Train museum for recommending this museum. And thanks to Susan for opening your doors for us and Jim for the stories. It was a wonderful experience.
