Extremely knowledgeable tour guide & incredible artifacts.
It was a really nice museum, and I learned about this place from the 2nd South Carolina String Band when they did their Last Gasp Concert on November 15th as a benefit concert to support the museum.
My husband and I visited the Lomas Centre on our most recent trip to Gettysburg. The gentleman who showed us round was great. He was a lovely man, and very informative. The museum is spotlessly clean and well maintained. Worth a visit.
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING, and definitely the highlight of our trip! We stumbled across this place and my God was it worth it! The caretaker gave an amazing tour, we learned more here than any other tour or museum in the city. The caretaker was beyond knowledgeable and took his time to explain everything, answer questions, and tell little side stories! The collection is beyond impressive and displayed so neatly..best part ITS FREE!
