From the very beginning a most joyous Valentine celebration. A extremely friendly hostess greeted us at the door and seated us. Service was excellent as was the food, beginning with their famous crap cake appetizer and then the filet mignon and scallop potato main dish. They also make a magnificent French Martini.
We love Lola's. We visit many restaurants in the Miami/Hollywood/Ft. Lauderdale area, but this is our favorite, hands down. We've been here several times in the last year and the food, service and experience have been superb every time. Last evening's Valentine's dinner was no exception. I've been eating here for 10 years now. I've never had a bad meal and I'm always inspired by the daily specials. Just this past Thur I had dinner there and I ordered the Fra Diavolo Grilled jumbo shrimp special. My eyes played tricks on me and I thought it was served over pasta. When it arrived at the table it was actually over polenta. � and what a treat that was for me. I had never had polenta this way before. Amazing dish. Maybe they will be inspired to put it on the menu as a regular.
Lola's is simply the best in downtown Hollywood great food, nice staff and reasonable prices. The filet is to die for.

If you haven't had the pleasure of dining at Lola's on Harrison in Hollywood, FL you are missing out. The excellent service and atmosphere are icing on the cake of the delicious dishes. The Coca Cola Ribs and Grouper are two of my favorites! Also, if you are lucky enough to catch the Bolognese on the special menu it is a must! Make sure you try this great place!!
