Finally got to go here for the first time on Black Friday. I got the spinach, feta and balsamic pizza. My friend got ham and pineapple. Both were very, very good. Can't believe it took me this long to get there!
My wife and I are from Pittsburgh and were in town for the Garth Brooks show over the weekend. We visited Lolas after a recommendation from my Aunts friend who lives in the area. We really enjoyed the pesto portabello pizza and the deep fried mozzarella. The food was hot and delicious! Service was excellent! The beer chalkboard was impressive, I wish I had more time to try some of the other local brews. After many twists and a couple of wrong turns I finally found it! I read the reviews and was not disappointed! I had the much raved about goat cheese & artichoke (yum!) and drank their signature sangria while I waited for my food! This will be a new favorite spot when I come through Charleston again! And I loved the ambience of it all!
Excellent fresh salad and hand made pizza. I love to support locally owned businesses like Lola's. This is a quaint little spot and it had live music,indoor and outdoor dining and friendly wait staff.
It was our first time there, and if you haven't been there, you should REALLY try it. Great atmosphere and service. We ordered the spinach feta pizza, and added pepperoni, portobello mushrooms, red onions and fresh garlic; asked for pesto and olive oil on the side for dipping the crust, and the pizza had a balsamic vinger reduction drizzled on it.
