We loved every dish we ate! Vegetables were cooked to perfection. Best Mar Far chicken ever! Enough food for another meal so we definitely got our money's worth.
Something awful has happened to Lok Yaun's. We've been customers since the late 1970's. For the past few years (before they moved),the food was amazing. . .consistently good and dramatically improved but then something happened. The most noticeable was the change in the fried shrimp. It was once the best in town. Won't bother ordering it now. Then the rice changed. It's like instant white rice now. Dirty and hairy soup. Lok Yaun has been my favorite Chinese restaurant in Eugene. But it has gone downhill. First the waitress never greets us and acted like she had better things to do. Next the waitress brought us extra plates that were extremely dirty. Then my daughter got her egg flower soup just to find hair in it. When I asked for the manager she didn't even apologize but offered to get her a new soup. I have been going to Lok Yaun most of my life and it is my favorite Chinese food in town. They are always fast and the food is always good!
Best chinese EVER! Come to Baker City! Been coming here since I was little. I hate being 8 hours away now. Me and my daughter both crave it horribly!!�������

Wow! Quite a range in most of these reviews. Our family has been going to Lok Yaun (and loved the food) for many, many years. Was sad to see it moving (tradition ya know) further west on 11th. But, the food & price is still great. Miss the sherbet after the Combination meals though. Consider bringing them back. When the West 11th construction is all done, thinking the in/out and parking will improve. Hoping that the management have planned to do some decorating to improve the ambience.
