Lok Safe uses a business model of ratcheting up rent. The last unit I had with Lok Safe ended at $147/mo for the same size unit that I’m paying $70/mo for across town. I started my rental of the first unit at $75/mo and in 36 months saw the rent DOUBLE. I started renting at the second Lok Safe facility at $70/mo and at the beginning of my third month received notification that they are intending to increase the rent by 25%.
