A bit expensive Portofino is the nicest hotel near Universal Studios. They have a character dining meal in the restaurant with Scooby Doo and Woody Woodpecker. My kids really enjoyed that and they had great food.
Pretty hotel We stayed at the Portofino with our three kids for three days and had a blast. There was a boat that took you from the hotel to the theam parks. The kids loved the boat.
Great hotel This is the best universal hotel. The views are amazing, it's very close to the parks, AND if you stay on site you get front of the line tickets to all the rides at both parks! This hotel is so worth the cost.
Best resort hotel in the area – Our weekend stay was exceptional. The unique location allows for a broad range of activities both within the resort proper and the adjoining theme park. romantic and beautiful – my boyfriend and i have been several times. it is a wonderful experience every time! the staff is always friendly and helpful. the rooms are beautiful. although i do recommend the deluxe bathroom if you can afford it. the view is gorgeous. mama bella's food was excellant. i do wish there were more bars and restraunts open during the day. the only place opened was the pool bar and last time was awfully cold. however the bartender was wonderfully entertaining. i would recommend portofino over the other... read more
Very nicely done – We stayed here on our last day in Orlando. What a great resort. We tried to stay another night but could not get our airfare changed. We really wanted to stay another day to explore the resort. Our room was really cute and the bathroom was very luxurious. We definitely want to stay here our next trip out.
Nice and clean and worth the money – We stayed 4 nights here during October and had a great experience. The hotel is modeled after Portofino Bay in Italy and it has all the details you'd expect including a sunset serenade by two opera singers plus a great guitarist at the hotel bar. Amazing Place! THE PORTOFINO BAY HOTEL at Universal is a replica of Portofino, Italy. What a beautiful place. The rooms are really nice and comfortable. The Hotel staff is friendly and they have excellent service. It is in a great location. Close to Universal Studios. The Portofino Bay Hotel is a Beautiful Hotel and I highly recommended it.
Wow great place I stayed here with my family and this place is amazing. The swimming pools there are world class. The rooms are Top quality. I felt like a moviestar staying here. The prices are reasonable
