Laurie helped me in the hardest season of my life. She helped me resolve a majorly traumatic event. She is skilled, compassionate, helpful, grounding, and supportive. I felt very cared for and she truly helped me.
“I shared very personal and vulnerable information with this therapist, and I did not feel believed or supported. Instead of meeting me where I was emotionally, she redirected the conversation toward interpretations I did not agree with. She also recommended I see a hypnotist to ‘validate’ my experiences, which felt inappropriate and dismissive rather than grounded or helpful.
