I am deeply disappointed by how this practice handled a call during one of the most difficult moments a pet owner can face. I contacted the office seeking information about euthanasia for my very ill dog. Instead of compassion or guidance, I was informed that the practice would not see my pet due to an alleged balance from 2015 — a balance I had never been invoiced for, never notified about, and was told had already been “settled with collections.” The timing and delivery of this information were profoundly insensitive. Amazing vet for my pet rats. I've had two of my boys neutered here for a reasonable price and had one girl put down. I paid a bit extra for cremation services and the service they use is absolutely amazing. The workers here really care about you and your pets. HIGHLY recommend if you are in need of a vet that takes rodents.
I've been going here since I moved to glen Allen about 16 years ago. All the vets are great! And all the recommended treatments are appropriate. I won't go anywhere else.
This location is about an hour from where I live, but I will always willingly drive out of my way to them, espeecially when it comes to my small mammals. Not only are they priced very well for their procedures, but they are all very caring and sweet. I had a pet rat undergo surgery for tumor removal for 1/5 the cost of a closer vet who wanted to charge more than any vet I have ever been to.
