Lochel's Bakery is a 3rd Generation of baking. The original bakery was located in Philadelphia, relocated to Warminster Pa, then to Levittown Pa where we had a fire and the fire destroyed everything which brought us to Hatboro.

Butter cake I was into visit Lochels Bakery for the first time.I have to tell you, they make THE best butter cake. I havent had a butter cake since Bowers bakery closed in Philadelphia,and I have to say, it was difficult for me to taste a difference. Good job guys, keep up the good work.
Undercooked items... I have gone to this bakery quite a few times over the past couple of years. Everytime I have gone there the things have been slightly doughy in the middle. I have tried several different items and they were all the same. I think the only thing that I had there that wasn't was a brownie. I would not go there again.
EXCELLENT AND FRESH ITEMS I recently went into Lochel's for my first time - there were so many delicious looking items it was hard to choose since I didn't have anything in mind and had never been in before. I decided to purchase six cupcakes. They were so fresh they melted in your mouth as was the icing which also was not too sugary, just right. The best Eclairs around In the past 3 weeks I've purchased both the eclairs and pastry puffs and everyone I've given them to has raved about them. Creamy custard filling, light pastry shell with delicious chocolate icing - the way I remember them as a child. Absolutely scrumptious!!
an ok choice for a bakery I have had many items from this store, all about average. The items seem fresh and prices comparatively to other bakeries. They dont make my favorite item anymore so I wouldnt go out of my way to go but a nice choice if I need bakery items. Parking is hard since it is in the center of town but can park behind the Produce Mart and walk. The service could be better and more friendly but they arent rude.
Received a burnt cake. No rectification was offered to loyal customers and the response was that is how it was supposed to be when we know it’s not because we have had delicious chocolate chip pound cake from here before. Very upsetting. My post was deleted 🤷🏻♀️
RecommendedBest cream donuts if you ask my husband, I love the lemon donuts when they have them. We've bought cakes for family & the office & so good & creative. Always give my daughter a cookie while we're making up our minds. Which is never easy.
