RecommendedLocalis is always a profound dining experience. We came up from the Bay Area because we know that whatever Chef Chris prepares, it will be off-the-charts wonderful. You have to try the supremely tender grilled octopus appetizer...I have never tasted anything like it. Even the most mundane side dish, in this case mashed potatoes, were so extraordinary that we had to order more for our entire party to try. Cannot wait for our next meal here.
Sat at the chefs table .. food is excellent... chef is hot... service is good. .. seasonal Menu... beer and wine only.. I prefer a cocktail but I survived.. lol no complaints and it was a surprise to see a old friend from culinary school working that line. Go STEVE!
What an amazing find in Sacramento! The Chef was f'ing fantastic. We'd just been to the French Laundry and enjoyed the food more for its balance of flavor and texture, but mostly the fun and innovation.
The food was outstanding and greeted by the chef as we entered was a bonus.
