Localis was one of the best meals we have ever had and definitely the best meal in Sacramento. We enjoyed the 4 course takeout with the options to add octopus and bread service during Covid 19. The food was beautifully plated for each individual course and the presentation stood out well. We loved the quail egg, the sauce in the octopus dish and the tuna salad. Chef Chris is awesome, the staff is awesome, the food is delicious. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone. Always a blast and always perfection.
Great service and excellent food!
Excellent ingredients and preparation. Fabulous sauces! The grilled octopus (which I added from the appetizer menu), duck l’orange, and Wagyu steak with truffle were standouts. Wine pairing was spot on too. The only disappointment was the puff pastry for the cauliflower first course, which did not seem freshly baked.
This was an amazing culinary experience. Wait staff is very impressive, each one memorizing complex course descriptions that change every month. Each course was delicious with unique and distinctive flavors. Definitely on the expensive side but worth a special occasion. Wine list - 500 selections from $35 to $4,500 per bottle.
The only place I love to go for a journey through culinary indulgence. A different great experience every time. Chef Chris amazing.
