This organization claims to support businesses, but it does the furthest thing from that-- it is in business for itself. We met all the criteria for a California Relief Covid Grant, and were selected in the weighted lottery. But LISC decided to change our grant category based on their arcane interpretation of a flimsily worded stipulation. They were incommunicative afterwards, and we had to resort taking them to court, where we won. Avoid them if possible.
Support them because they support communities trying to make life better for themselves.
