I have been a tenant at Local by Laramar, at the W. Argyle Street buildings, for a very long time. I feel like the property is really very well-managed. The maintenance personnel are very responsive. The property management people are really very nice to work with and talk to. I also think they do a good job of picking considerate tenant-neighbors who are good to live alongside. Key reasons why I love Laramar: 1. The customer service is consistently outstanding. From day one, the staff has been responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely helpful. I moved into this new apartment back in March with my partner. The unit was clean when we moved in and there was very little in need of maintenance aside from the ice maker in the refrigerator. Maintenance has been very helpful and responds quickly to requests. One issue we did have was we were promised two outdoor parking spots at the building but on move in day we learned only one was available. I'm in the process of trying to move out but LocalByLaramar keeps telling potential landlords that I have been late on rent. I have not been late on rent, I was late on fees for utilities that they did not tell me about until 6 months after the fact. avoid them at all costs. it was an okay experience at first but the way they are currently making it even hard to leave is infuriating.

After going through several managerial company transitions I really started to lose hope in the company. My rent was being paid but not posted which left me in a 11k whole to dig out of because of the transitions. Luckily I was able to work with Miranja to get a payment plan and she truly understood the situation. She has helped restore confidence and trust in the company. I highly recommend working with Miranja if you get a chance wonderful person kind and caring
