Originally established in 1954, The Lobster Pool has been a Rockport institution for delectable seafood. The Tedesco family took over the reigns of this restaurant in 1997, but have maintained the quality service that The Lobster Pool takes pride in. The menu features delicious seafood dishes that are simple, yet rich in flavor. The ambiance, too, is kept simplistic, so guests can enjoy their fares in an unpretentious environment. For dinner, grab a seat at the patio, when you can enjoy beautiful views of the setting sun.

The reason I go is becuz of the view. Anything to b on the water!! Food is great too!!

One of the coolest places to eat on the east coast. In a dry county, so bring a few cold beers, a great pinot grigio and don't forget to get there in time to order jump in on a picnic table, chat with some locals, then watch the most beautiful sunset while enjoying some very honest seafood!
Gorgeous view, friendly staff, wonderful lobster rolls! It sneaks up on you and doesn't look like much from the outside, but the lobster is delicious!
Great food and the very best sunset on the eastern seaboard.
